How it works

1. Open a contract in ContractHero
2. Go to the AI-extracted data fields (e.g., notice period, term, contracting party)
3. Click on the data field or the associated source icon
4. ContractHero jumps directly to the relevant passage in the document and highlights the area the information was extracted from

One click replaces scrolling through pages of contract text.

Common questions

Does this work with long contracts?
Yes. In fact, it's most useful with lengthy contracts spanning many pages, since you no longer need to find the passage yourself. ContractHero navigates directly to it.

What happens when the information comes from a table?
For tables, the entire table area is highlighted rather than a single cell. Table cells are hard to attribute without surrounding context, so ContractHero shows the table section containing the relevant information.

Does this work with scanned documents?
Yes, thanks to the new OCR technology, scanned contracts are supported. For documents containing images or graphics with embedded text, the source display may be limited -- in those cases, ContractHero shows the nearest text area.

Does clicking "Jump to Source" change anything?
No. It only shows you where the information came from. It doesn't modify the extracted value or the document.
