AI Retrigger: Re-analyze contracts and fill in missing fields

Your benefit

You add a new mandatory field -- say "Location" or "Plant" -- and suddenly 500 existing contracts have a blank where that data should be. Without the AI Retrigger, that means opening each contract, finding the information, typing it in. With the AI Retrigger, you do it for all contracts at once, in 1-3 minutes. The AI even reads through attachments. After that, you can filter by location, run reports, and work with complete data immediately.

How it works

1. Go to your contract overview and select the contracts you want to re-analyze.
2. Start the AI Retrigger.
3. The AI reads through the contract documents and attachments, searching for information that matches your empty mandatory fields.
4. After 1-3 minutes (depending on how many contracts you selected), the analysis is done.
5. Review the results and correct anything that doesn't look right -- the AI is good, but not perfect.

Important: The AI searches for keywords in your documents. If a piece of information (e.g. a location) isn't mentioned in the contract, the AI can't extract it. Those fields still need to be filled in manually.

Common questions

Will the AI overwrite data I've already entered?
No. The AI only fills in empty fields. If a field already has a value, the AI leaves it as is -- it assumes your data is correct.

Does the Retrigger only work for specific fields?
No. The AI Retrigger works across all mandatory fields in your system, not just locations or a specific field type.

Do I need to re-upload my contracts?
No. The AI Retrigger works with the documents already stored in ContractHero. No re-upload needed.

What's the difference between AI Retrigger and AI Summary?
ContractHero has two AI features: the AI Retrigger analyzes contracts and fills in data fields. The AI Summary condenses contract content so you can understand long documents faster.
