Calendar view: All deadlines and tasks at a glance

Stay on top of every deadline without juggling tools: ContractHero's calendar shows every important date — from contract end dates and notice periods to task reminders and contact deadlines — in a single view. No more separate Excel for due dates, no more manual tracking of termination windows.

What's in it for you

Contract dates spread fast across hundreds of contracts: end dates, notice periods, reminders, tasks. The calendar pulls all of these into one filterable view. You see at a glance what's coming up this week, what expires in the next 30 days, and which tasks are still open. No manually maintained deadline lists — and a much smaller risk of missing a critical date.

How it works

  1. From the left navigation, open "Calendar".
  2. Switch between views in the top right — Month / Week / Day / Agenda. The Agenda view is a compact list of every event in the next 30 days.
  3. Click "Filter" in the top right to toggle which data types show: Contracts, Tasks, Contacts — each independently.
  4. Use < Today > to navigate periods and jump back to the current date.

Three types of entries appear on the calendar:

  • From contracts: start date, end date, notice period (blue pills with contract icon)
  • From tasks: due date, reminder date (green pills with task icon)
  • From contacts: any date-based custom field on your contacts

Common questions

Can I customize what the calendar shows?
Yes. The filter lets you decide which data types appear — for example, hide contract dates and show only open tasks when you're focused on day-to-day work. The view toggles (Month / Week / Day / Agenda) live in the top right.

Can I save my filter preferences?
This is being improved. In the near future you'll be able to set a default calendar view that you can recall instantly.

Does it sync with Outlook or Google Calendar?
A direct sync with external calendars is on the roadmap but not yet available. Until it ships, you can manually export individual tasks or deadlines if you need them in your usual calendar — or we'll let you know once the integration goes live.

What dates show up on the calendar?
Every date-based field on your contracts (start, end, notice period), tasks (due, reminder dates), and contacts. What you actually see is controlled by the filter.

Good to know

  • The calendar lives in the left navigation under "Calendar" — no separate area, no hidden feature.
  • The Agenda view shows the next 30 days as a compact table — perfect for weekly planning or standups.
  • Especially useful at year-end, when many contracts expire and notice periods need attention.
  • The calendar only shows what's in your data. The more completely your contracts are filled with date and notice-period fields, the more you'll see.
