How do I connect DocuSign to ContractHero?
The screenshots in this article show the German interface. The English label is given first, with the German label in square brackets.
You already work with DocuSign — but you want your contracts to be managed in ContractHero? The DocuSign integration connects the two worlds: documents are signed securely and end up, together with their signature status, where your contract management lives.
You request the integration directly in ContractHero — and we handle the setup together with you.
Your benefits
- Keep DocuSign, use ContractHero. Your team carries on signing in the familiar DocuSign workflow — ContractHero remains the central contract repository.
- Two-way synchronisation. The integration keeps the two systems exchanging information instead of documents being copied back and forth by hand.
- No retraining. Especially when many colleagues only sign contracts rather than manage them, you save yourself having to move entire teams onto something new.
- Request it in two clicks. You find and request the integration directly in your settings — we sort out the rest with you personally.
How it works
1. Open the apps gallery
Navigate to Settings [Einstellungen] → Integrations [Integrationen]. The Apps tab contains all available integrations.

2. Find DocuSign
Use the Search [Suchen] field and enter "DocuSign". The card shows the integration with the note On request [Auf Anfrage].

3. Request the integration
Click the DocuSign card. The dialogue shows you what it can do — Request integration [Integration anfragen] submits your request. Our team will then get in touch with you to arrange the setup.

4. Setting it up together
Because the integration is connected to your DocuSign account, we set it up together with you — including the question of which documents and statuses should be synchronised.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does the integration do?
It connects ContractHero with DocuSign via two-way synchronisation — signed documents and your contract portfolio stay in step between the two systems.
I can see On request [Auf Anfrage] — why can't I connect it directly?
The DocuSign integration is linked individually to your DocuSign account. Activation therefore runs via a request and a joint setup rather than through a self-service switch.
Do I need DocuSign if I use the ContractHero signature?
No. ContractHero offers its own electronic signatures with FES and QES. The DocuSign integration is intended for organisations that already work extensively with DocuSign and want to keep it.
What does the integration cost?
The DocuSign integration is an add-on. Your Customer Success Manager will be happy to put together a suitable quote for you.
Which other integrations are there?
You will find an overview of all connections — from HubSpot to webhooks — in the apps gallery under Settings [Einstellungen] → Integrations [Integrationen].
Good to know
- The apps gallery is the quickest route: you can request other integrations there too (CRM, HR, file storage and much more) in just a few clicks.
- Your signing workflows stay flexible: the DocuSign integration and ContractHero signatures (FES/QES) are not mutually exclusive.
- A request commits you to nothing: Request integration [Integration anfragen] simply starts the conversation with our team.
